New Mexico's Acequia Culture

Unit 2: Cultivation of Food
 
 
During the past two weeks our class has been studying and discussing New Mexico's acequia culture, reading Stanley Crawford's Mayordomo and watching the film, Milagro Beanfield Wars.  Some of these photos were taken of Northern New Mexico acequia's in the Chama Valley near the Brazos River.
